Here we are on August 26th as we head out the door to have a baby :) At this point, we had no idea what we were in for! My labor started out fairly well, but things didn't quite go as expected. After an unsuccessful epidural, insane back labor, an internal hematoma, massive blood loss and a visit to the O.R., we finally met our precious little boy.
We really couldn't love this guy more!!!!!! He's just the cutest thing we've ever seen and he sure makes his mommy and daddy melt every time they look at him ;)
Nolan was lucky enough to have grandparents in town when he was born. Here are Papa and Nana holding their new grandson :)
A week and half later, we were blessed to get a visit from Papa and Grandma Eck. Not too many babies get to have 4 grandparents around at the same time ;) He had lots of arms ready to hold him!!!!
We have managed to get out of the house quite a bit for having a 2 1/2 week old baby. Nolan has already been to 3 doctor appointments, 2 Walmart runs, 2 restaurants (daddy had a birthday this weekend), the beach, an ice cream run and a quick stop at church to visit friends.
We'll do our best to keep the pictures coming! :)

Yay!! Yes! Please keep the pictures coming as you have time...You looked adorable on your way to the hospital and FANTASTIC in that last picture of you on the beach! So cute. Loving the update!
Thanks girls! I must say that I was pretty shocked to see how gigantic my face was before we went to the hospital!!!!! It all happened so gradually, but I'm thrilled to be looking more like myself again these days! :)
