The Ecks just LOVE spending as much time outdoors as possible, and the Garden of the Gods is a great place for nature lovers like us :) Our dear friend, Jules, was quite the trooper...hiking at over 6,000 ft can be quite challenging when you've just flown in from Mexico!

We decided NOT to stick to the paths. We much preferred making our own way across those treacherous rocks and cliffs :)
Again, big rocks just make Brandon happy.
This was taken one week later when Brandon and I went back for yet another hike. This time we meant business and went for a pretty serious hike.
You can't help but want to sit back and enjoy the view when you've conquered something that awesome! This was our spectacular view of Garden of the Gods.
This is one happy couple!
